Here are just a couple pictures of our decorated house: Our family tree that is in our front room
The stockings I ordered for our family, if you look close, they have all our names embroidered on each of them. I left our the kids tree, since it has its own post = )!
This year we decided to have Thanksgiving in our new home. We invited both our families, and had a wonderful time. Here is the table setting (as my mom's post said, we unfortunately did not take pictures of the food, lol). On a side note the high chair in the back corner was given (let us borrow) from Johnny's Gram and Pop, it was used by his mom and both Johnny and his brother Seth. My mom of course did the Turkey and stuffing (which turned out wonderfully). Johnny's Gram brought a wonderful pumpkin and pecan pie (which I entirely too much of). Robin (Johnny's mom) brought made from scratch cranberries and green bean casserole, they tasted wonderful. Raygen was very sociable for the first time since being a newborn (she has become quit the mommas girl). She let everyone hold her!! This is a picture of Gram and Raygen.
This Year I decided to get the kids their own tree, since our family tree is not kid friendly. Hayd is getting older and wants to be involved in decorating. The kids will get an ornament each year to add to their tree. I picked out there first name letters for the tree, as you can see Hayd holding them in each picture.
Hayd is just so proud him and Raygen have their own tree!!!
The morning ritual is Hayden watches his cartoons, and now Raygen sits in her bumbo and watches with him. He always explains Sponge Bob or whatever he is watching to her!!! It is just so precious how much he loves her, and she loves him!!! Something about Big Brothers and Little Sisters!!!
This Halloween Hayd wanted to be the Wolverine from X- Men, and we found the cutest Bumble Bee costume for Raygen.
Here is baby girl's little wings with momma, and then Daddy holding her and you can see her little tights and tutu!!!! As you can see Hayd is very photogenic, and loves to ham it up and demonstrate how "the wolverine does it" !!! My two beautiful children!!! They make our world perfect!!!
The other morning I was getting Hayd's breakfast ready and Raygen was not so inclined to wait. So Hayd said "Mom I will get her mom" (which means entertain her = ) ). So Hayd grabbed his straw and started to "pretend" tap dance and cha cha with his straw (instead of in the movies "singing in the rain umbrella). Made me laugh and I am not a morning person! Here is some pictures, you cant see him doing it but she wants to try with him so bad.
We took the kids to the park before it gets too windy here in Vegas. Of course for 90% of the time Raygen slept. Hayd climbed all over things as usual but did get stuck! We had to laugh, but he did get out of it himself
He loves to ride his bike any chance he gets. I also realized, I will not be going alone. He zips out of sight way to quick.
There is a hill in between the slides that Hayden discovered he could slide down.
It has been so long since I last posted, mostly due to new baby and never having time to be on the computer....luckily my facebook is on my phone. I would never be connected to the outside world if it wasn't. since my little one has become accustomed to being held or talked to or just in general constant attention. She is now days away from being 3 months old, we just can't believe how old she is already. She is grabbing everything in sight including my hair, which I am very thankful I cut it last month. She is cooing and kicking and doing very good. Hayden is 4 1/2 and the best big brother I have ever seen. He loves her and just can't get enough of her, he sings and talks and gives so many kisses and she just can't get enough of him either. I feel very blessed in that aspect, since I prepared myself for the possiblilty of jelousy. His favorite holiday is coming up and that is Halloween, he loves super hero costumes, lol. He loves learning and is getting very good at the alphabet and counting higher and higher! I am so proud of him. Me and Johnny are doing very well, he is still at Rebel and I am home with the children and loving it. Here are some pictures.
After Hayd's last game for T-Ball this year they gave him a medal. He was so proud, and we took a family photo : ). Yes that is my huge belly, since I can have her anytime after 2 weeks ; )!!!! (but not technically due for 5 weeks)
I had heard from two of my girlfriends (who are currently pregnant also), that the 4D Ultrasound is amazing. I showed Johnny, and right away we decided we wanted to do it. I made the apt, and after two days of drowning myself in water, which was rewarded by how clear you can see Raygen Bella : ) we got to see the first glimpses of her! We are just so excited for her to come after seeing her and starting to see what she is preferring, her arm in particular. She loves to suck on her arm, not her hand or thumb, her forearm! She is heathy and thats what we care about. I also was so happy to hear she has hair!!!! I was also so happy she had the hiccups and Johnny got to see her and hear her hiccups. She has Johnny's nose, and my chubby baby cheeks. The Lady kept saying she is just has the cutest chubby cheeks already : ). We are so happy and excited for her to get here! The picture below is she wanted to get her foot to her head, and we assume in her mouth (as her mouth opened as it came up), but it just got to her forhead. She is just too cute!! Its really funny people have already said what they will call her. Her daddy will call her Bell or Bella, Hayd said she is going to call her Bella also (mostly I think cause Johnny said that, LOL). She is my little Ray Ray or Ray Bell! Its been really cute to see how good Hayden has become about his sister, he comes up now and talks to his sister in my belly, he says "Hi Bella, I love you". He asks when does she get to come out. We are just so happy that he has become so attached to her already, just as we have.
We took Hayd to Beatty (the small town Johnny grew up, where his mom lives) for Easter this year. It worked out really good, he had a blast. Here is Hayd making his eggs for the Easter Bunny to hide, (don't mind his face, his dad took him to the fair and he had to keep the Batman paint on to show me and Johnny! LOL and wear his riding jersey! What a BOY!) and my big belly ; ).
The next morning first words were, is it Easter time yet? I said yes and he looked to see if the Easter Bunny left him anything, and he was so excited.
Then he got to do what he has been waiting for, Hunt for EASTER EGGS!!! Of course Stewie wanted to help and tried to steal some eggs, but he stopped. All in all Hayd had a great Easter, and we had a really great Family weekend! His Uncle Seth came up, and Johnny's Grandparents and we had a big Ham dinner.
2 weeks ago we bought Hayd a new dog! He is a French Bulldog named Stewie. Since we have a new edition coming in less than 13 weeks, we decided he could use something to help out with that is "his". He loves him, it has worked out for the best other than the potty training aspect. He is able to play with him, and it has benefited the other dogs in the fact it is keeping them young and exhausted!!!! The past couple of days we have been to the park, Petapalooza, and Park again, needless to say Hayd was tuckered out by Sunday afternoon. This is the picture of him passed out on the couch and his dog next to him!
About 2 months ago Hayd learned how to ride his bike without training wheels,
thanks to the patients of Johnny and Hayd having cabin fever in the apartment we were staying in tell the house closed. I took some pictures yesterday when we went on a walk to the park just a couple houses down from ours. One of the perks of our house.
Even though Hayd's 4th b-day is today, we celebrated on Saturday with my mom. Hayden wanted a Power Ranger Party and a Spiderman cake!! Little man gets what he wants of course. He woke up to Gigi with is such a treat for Hayd, he loves his Grandma. Gigi hid all her presents through the house, and Hayd went on a scavenger hunt for all his new power ranger toys from Grandma. Then all the family came and we had lunch, gifts, and cake. He had a great day!
After Christmas our lives really got crazy!!! Our house was "supposed" to close within the first week or at the latest second week in January. Well....that didnt happen so were were in limbo waiting until the 20th of January. But all works out for a reason, weather was really bad during that time in Las Vegas, which is very unusual. Also, Johnny got really sick for a week and could not work or move of the couch : ' (! But we are in our NEW HOME, and LOVING IT!!! I will post pictures soon, in request from my mom!! The main thing for us in moving in was getting Hayd settled and making sure his room was ready and what he wanted. Thanks to Johnny's handy working skill it turned out just as Hayd wanted. We are really enjoying our home and feel settled for the first time since Thanksgiving! ahhhhh!!!
