Hayden meets the Mall Santa for the FIRST TIME!!

We took Hayden to get his regular pictures done, and we passed Santa. Well, of course we had to stop so Hayden could tell him what he wanted for Christmas. I was a little worried whether he would decide at the last minute that he didn't' want to sit on a strangers lap. But to my surprise and unlike Hayden (he has seemed to inherit my initial shyness around new people) he was very comfortable with going up and asking to sit on his lap. We could not hear all that he said but was very serious in what he was telling Santa, as if it was a business conversation. It made me chuckle to myself. When he was finally done, the Santa stopped us and chuckled to himself and let us know that Hayden had told him that he would leave out Mac n' Cheese for him on Christmas Eve, not cookies. We laughed at that, and thanked Santa for letting us know. I thought even though its not close to Christmas quite yet, here is the pictures of Hayden and Santa.

I know... I am hoping I can convince him otherwise that Santa really wants cookies...but we'll see! What ever he wants to leave is fine! LOL

Very cute. I love the mac n cheese idea, Santa would get sick if he only ate cookies all night!

That's a good Santa! We used to leave carrots out for the reindeer, too. Somehow my own kids have never clued into that tradition of leaving anything out.
