Tackling the Alligator....

Today after Hayd's t-ball game we went to the park down the street where

we could sit on the grass and relax while Raygen can crawl and sit and not feel restrained!!

Since today is a semi-hot day reaching 85 degrees,

we brought some lunch and watched.....

Hayd tame and concur the

alligator and the

water spewing from the ground!!!

Of course we had to hit the swings,

since its the only thing our little booges can do,

and her big brother has to push her, lol.

It's official.....PLAY BALL!!!!

Opening Day of Little League

This year we put Hayden in a official Little League called Mountain Ridge.

He is already loving it, and we love the coach and how good he is with 5-6 year olds. Today was the Opening Day for Little League and the first time Hayden has been able to be apart of anything like this. The day started out with team pictures, which took a while. Thankfully....Booges (sorry, for future reference this is what we call Raygen) took a long nap!!! Not long after, every team paraded on the field. Last but not least was all the "t-ballers", which got a huge applause and "how cute's"!!! Then all the older kids already sitting on the field slapped all the t-baller's hands as they went by!! After that was all said and done, ~Hayd participated in Longest throw~

It was a really good day and a lot easier on us that our little baby spitfire was extremely well behaved!!

Star Wars and the Big 5!!!

A couple days before Hayd's actual birthday we did a big family party. We did some simple food, dips, fruit, etc. and of course CAKE!! He was so excited since this year he had a specific list of things he wanted. He was so surprised that everything on that list was given (luckily it was a reasonable list, lol). I am getting used to the fact that the "baby face" is fading fast, but do not like it!!

The best 5 years of my life!!!

This post is for always in my eyes, my little baby boy Hayden!! He is turning 5 on Tuesday!! I can't believe how time flies, and how much my baby has grown. Three months into my pregnancy with him I found out he had what was called, Gastroschisis: is a birth defect in which an infant's intestines stick out of the body through a defect on one side of the umbilical cord. I was devastated finding out what would entail fixing him. He was born and they took him right away for surgery, and then into NICU.

He went through 3 surgery's, and stayed 6 weeks in NICU.

(1 month- finally able to hold him, was not able to hold him for first 3 weeks)

After he came home and as months went by, he became what the specialist refers to as "best case scenario".

The specialist still uses his pictures in his seminars as what the best case scenario can be. I am thankful everyday for him, and how much of a fighter he is. I am so thankful for his resilience in the things he has had to deal with.

I love his sense of humor and how he can make himself laugh!! I love watching him interacting with his sister and how much he loves her and absolutely adores her!! He is such a loving caring boy to everyone. We are so glad that he is in our family, and treasure our time with him!! We love you so much Hayd!!

The piggy tail and black eye!

Little miss's hair has really started to come in!! So much that she is able to have "hearty" piggy tails ; )!!! She only likes to show half at a time..lol We are LOVING that her personality is really coming in!!

And then.....there his Hayd's new shiner from practicing baseball.

Sunshine and "Springtime" !!!

Its the start of Spring in Viva Las Vegas!! Also the begining of Park fun, tell it gets too hot ; )!!

Raygen even got to swing all by her self!!!
